Hi all I have a problem with my tmc I was wondering were it is located is it in the ecu and if so if I install a mace pro memcal in my ecu would that most likely fix the issue of the tmc not allowing the transmission to shift up gears

There is no separate transmission controller. It just has the PCM, Powertrain Control Module.

What makes you think the computer is the problem?

Sounds like you may have either shift solenoid problems or a throttle position sensor problem. Are you getting a check engine light on? Have you tried displaying your error codes? The post below is for VR/VS, but VT/VX V6 uses the same process.
