Hi Folks,
There has been a few very hot days in Adelaide and Air has been working overtime in my Car.

Every now and then the dash starts chimming away and the ABS , TRAC OFF, AIR BAG, ENG MANGMENT and some times the OIL LIGHT all come on.
The car still runs fine. Then 5 min later they all go OFF and everything is back to normal.

This has happened 4 to 5 times in the past 3 days, and seems to happen more when Air is on, but can happen with air off.

Time to see holdens????

Any Ideas anyone.

Thanks for that.
I did notice that the ABS light comes on 1st then all the others come on!!

Will know what it is on THURS.

I was reading in a VT manual that they had a problem in that area due to water leaking in through the plenum area.

when the ABS module fails it grounds the serial data circuit, this causes all the other lights to come on, the giveaway is the oil light, when it faults unplug the ABS connector, if the oil light goes out theres your problem.
sometimes cleaning the connector with contact cleaner fixes it for a while but you will eventually need a new module.
