Hi,

I have a VT2 Spac V6 manual and about a year ago needed to get my clutch replace so I got someone to fit an Exedy HD clutch . My bother also has a VT V6 manual (series 1 though) and he also replaced his clutch with an Exedy HD clutch (he did the install himself with the help from a friend). When I drive my car there seems to be a lot of travel in the clutch before the gear is engaged where as his seems to engage a lot sooner and generally feels smoother to drive/change gears. Is there any way I can adjust the clutch or things I can try to improve the clutch perfromance.

Thanks for the help I have been searching the forums for an answer to this problem for a while now so sorry if it has already been discussed somewhere.

you might be able to adjust your pedal.. theres a adjusting screw on it.

if not i'd say your clutch is worn but im not to sure how the HD clutches work

also get some new clutch fluid and MT fluid and that might help make it 'smoother' to drive
