Im a mechanic, have just fitted a VT motor and loom into a VX, was told will plug and play, the ECU has diff plugs, fan wiring is different, only a 2 pin plug not a 4 pin plug like the VX loom, was wondering if there was an easy way to rectify this instead of replacing the loom i just fitted with this s/hand motor, any help would be great, trying to save my boss lost time if i dont have to swap the looms back over....! Cheers

Why don't you just swap the ECU's?

Tried that, the three plugs behind the drivers shockie tower the middle plugs has from memory 2 diff colour wires in it across the top row, it just has no start, fuel pump the lot runs, like ya cut power to the starter, not even bridging the relay helps, thinking maybe neutral switch, been thinking about it over the last few hours, might just have to go into work early and change the loom out, an hour or two effort, would have been nicer out of the car grrr, cheers for ya input bud..
