[Ecotec] VT or VX V6 Ecotec into VS ?

Hey all,

Quick question: can a later Ecotec V6 (VT-VX) be installed into a VS?

Manifolds and possibly engine mounts might need swapping over, but is there anything else? I'm talking different/non-compatible sensors etc? Anyone done it before?

Can get hold of a VX loom/computer etc, but would the VT-VX motor work with a VS ecu?

hey mate, welcome to the forum

it has been done a few times before and there are a few threads floating round here in the V6 mod and dev section and/or in the VR-VS section, with a heap of info in them.
