VT performance questions! HELP NEEDED.

I have a stock VT V6 Executive.
The usual exterior/interior mods.
Just looking at a few things to increase performance for a cheap price? (Like everybody else, I know.)
I am on my P's, also.
I'm going to be getting the exhaust, extractors, hi flow cat etc. done soon.

What are peoples thoughts on twin or bored throttle bodies?
Worth the money?

Also looking at a SS growler kit (or perhaps making my own because I don't think they're really worth $400+ new).
Thoughts/worth it?

Can anybody give me some advice, opinions and point me in the right direction on performance chips/tunes?

In time it will be stroked with new cam, etc.
Just need some ideas before I get around to that.

- Chev badges extra 30kws
- HSV sticker extra 50kws
- removing spare wheel back seats extra - 100 kw
- Mace spacers exrta (so many kw's they can't be counted)
- Removing exhaust from the cats back extra 50 kw
- cutting springs extra 50kws
- extra chrome bits 5kws per item
- Fake turbo attachment extra 100kws
- Going Highway extra 1,000,000 kws

Well, isn't everyone being nice and helpful today.
First off mate, NA v6 is not worth doing up but since you asked, why not try a power chip? Powerchip Performance Software Tuning for BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Audi, Porsche
You'll be looking at 161kw and 334nm compared to a stock 147kw and 304nm. Only costs about $290 it's a 'plug 'n' play' memcal. So bang for buck that will be about as good as it gets.

Twins are worth the money if you use them in the right application.
To get the full effect from them, you would need a bigger air intake, manifold mods, head work (maybe), cam and exhaust.
If the car is sucking in more air, it's no good restricing it after it passes through the throttle body.

Haha. You will have to forgive FATMOE. I know you are only new, it's your first post and you are still finding your way around the Forum.
But there is a search tab near the top right of the Forum. Just type in something like...V6 engine mods, or 3.8 litre mods.
You will probably find all the infomation you could ever imagine on your subject. Far more than posting a new thread.
It's not that we don't want to help, we do. It's just these sort of questions come up so much.
If you can't find what you are after, or can't understand something, we will be more than happy to help.
