So i had an EPIC PS leak, now when i say epic i mean filling the tank once a week as it was completely empty. Anyway, long story short, i fitted a new ps rack as it was rooted and bought a seal kit for the pump and rebuilt it myself, (seal kit was to try and save some money)
Now. before i pulled the pump apart i noticed the pulley has a slight play in it. Once put back together and the car running i can hear a slight knocking noise being the pulley wobbling.
So my question is, Why is there so much play in the pulley to allow it do to this? Is it possible the actully pulley can warp? or was it useless me trying rebuild the pump and its screwed lol
