hi guys i have a vt berlina commodore and i have a weird rattling sound coming from my 2 front wheels when i hit bumps..thought it was the wheel bearing but they are brand new,checked bushes and there new aswell..the weird thing is if i brake wile hitting bumps the sound go's away but if im not braking and hitting bumps i can hear the rattles...what the hell is going on..please help guys

At a guess, sway bar link pin bushes? Very common on VT on. They can look o.k. but if you turn the wheels the other way and load is taken off the bush you can see freeplay.

Was a 1997 vt v6 wagon
Check your front brake calipers, maybe the brake pads are a little loose!
