My series 1 VT was running rich for a while using 15L per 100 so I changed the o2 sensors to Brand new ones and it's still using 15L per 100. I'm not sure what to do. It has 280xxxKms on it and I've ordered a coolant temp sensor and also have a fuel injector service kit ready to go. What else could possibly make my economy so bad?

It might help if you provided some information on how you determined the 15l/100km - trip computer or calculated via petrol pump/odometer info? Also what type of driving - city, country, stop-start, mixed (approximate percentage of each)?

It says it on the dash cluster, also tank is nearly empty after doing 80kms with 20 litres petrol. It's just general all over driving. City or not I don't think it should use 15-20l per 100

New air filter?
New plugs?
New fresh correct oil, inc. oil filter?
Tyres pumped up close to 40PSI?
Clean car....Clean polished car is more slippery.

Just a couple of things that help economy.

which engine do you have
sedan or wagon
you need to fill fuel to first pump shut off
write down odometer reading
when tank is nearly empty
go to same fuel pump and again fill until first pump shut off
write down odometer reading and litres of fuel used
then calculate your usage
dont rely on the cluster estimate
have you disconnected battery or pcm fuse to reset fuel trims
have you tested/changed tps
last but not least do you drive like a p plater or like an adult

Exotic v6

I'll try filling it and counting. I've been counting it when putting 20 litres in it and seeing how long it lasts.
I've disconnected the battery but haven't pulled any fuses.

And I drive like a grandpa to conserve fuel
