Hf I got a 1998 vt s pa supercharged
Afteh a little thrashing of the car I noticed the petrol was very low so I pulled into a petrol station and filled my tank to the max.
I went to pay and came back and started the car and it started for a few seconds then died out.
I kept trying to start it but it kept dying out in a couple seconds.
I cant hear the fuel pump noise when i turn the ignition on and when the key is on accessory i can hear a clicking noise coming from under the car.
So I reckon the fuel pump is gone but i could be wrong, anymore insight would be awesome thanks

Being very low on fuel, you could have picked up some gunk in the tank and blocked the filter.
They say never let the car get under 1/4 empty because it can damage the fuel pump due to running the pump dry.
Dunno if this is really true or not.

Car starts fine now
Are fuel pumps expensive for labour by a mechanic
