VT Seat Base Swap

Greetings all ....its been a while since i posted or asked for advice from my fellow commy sufferers..

Heres my question.... As you all know due to the age of our behated cars the seat foam had a rude habit of falling apart especially on the drivers side..... can the passenger side base be swaped over as im sure its less likely to suffer prolonged wear and tear.....

Any advice and or help will be appreciated

The entire seat can be swapped.

Obviously need to switch the rails, plastic covers around the base (if they aren't already broken and missing)
Lumbar support can be installed/removed, switched sides (providing the passenger back cover has the hole cutout)
Carefully pull the back adjuster out and swap sides.

I'd invest in the plastic clips that hold the back cover on (they tend to break when removing it.... once again if it hasn't already broken and fallen off)
