Does any one know if the electrcit seats on a vt senator can be tightened? The ones on the car i recently bought both move back and forth 1 - 2 cms!!

Yeah, I got the same problem too. Most noticable when braking. It's rather annoying. Hope someone on here knows how to fix it.

Are you referring to them tilting up and down a bit when you accelerate. There are some rubber mounting/bushings in the seat that get flogged out and were superceded to a new part number. I can look at my service bulletins and try to find a part number if you like?

Nah, they slide back and forth, Mine does it too....
I havn't looked at them yet as it doesn't bother me that much, but I have checked other cars, and they were the same :-(

moving seat

Yeah i have the same problems with my passenger front seat. when i brake it moves forward a little and back when accelerating
I have been meaning to pull it out to check it out but havent every done it.

They are adjusted by a long threaded bar, which turns and fastens / adjusts with internally threaded 'nuts' on the other half of the frame. If the threads are worn, you may be able to get away with replacing the 'nuts' that slide over the threads, if you can get them. Otherwise, you'll havet o purchase entire new seat runners - big $$$
