VT series 2 onwards to VZ have a different yolk to earlier models. So first of all there will be problems there. Read "Diffs - All you need to know" in the how to section for all the info you will need. Also consider that if it has a diff ratio then a speedo recalibration will be needed and that fitting the diff isn't as simple as bolting it in, i think some adjusting/aligning is needed.
    ...And thats my two cents...

hmmm i put a new lsd in my vx but it was out of a vt . it fitted in easy as but as the drive shafts were diffrent i also had to pick up a vt drive shaft so it matted up to the diff as the vx one has rubber mounts in it ( to make smother for nanas ) but the vt one has the solid joints ( not sure what they called ) but that was all the abs plugs were the same and the ratio was 3.08 not 3.07 like i had so speedo shouldn't be far out. But it makes driving it so much more fun :)

if you get the tail shaft you wont have any dramas
