Yea if you go ahead and do it this way it would be cheaper then buying a whole new deck but you will lose sound quality..vn6pwr said:You will definately need a new H/U, there are no RCA outs on stock units. Nice, so are the door speakers just going to be left connected to the H/U, this is what alot of people do and have the amp powering a sub.totality said:its cool ive decided to replace the head unit.
Im getting the following installed next week
JVC head unit KDG725
Alpine 12" Sub SWS1242D
Alpine Amp MRPM450
and ill be keeping the 4 clarion 6" speakers in the doors aswell.
