Simple question.
Will the stock VT head unit have the RCA plugs in the back of it to connect a amp to?
or do i need to buy a new head deck?

You will definately need a new H/U, there are no RCA outs on stock units. The only other way is if you take it apart and solder wires into it before they are amplified by the internal amplifier which is tricky if you dont know what your doing.

Yea if you go ahead and do it this way it would be cheaper then buying a whole new deck but you will lose sound quality..

Nice, so are the door speakers just going to be left connected to the H/U, this is what alot of people do and have the amp powering a sub.

Azzfox, phreddy doesnt do VT units, ONLY Blaupunkt (VY-VZ)

why do ppl use the JVC H/U for????
they are absolute SH*T.....get something decent like a pioneer, alpine, kenwood or clarion.

your spending all this money on apline sub and amp put a decent deck in....new pioneers come with inputs for ipods, bluetooth, etc.....buy once and keep for ever
