Vt strut towers cracking advise please

Hello could use some advice my strut towers are cracking and starting to go down firewall how dangerous is this would they just give way or show signs beforehand I am worried I am spending to much money on my car and heard to get strut towers fixed is very expensive cheers

Common problem with the VT's get a strut brace put on and if you have SSSSSSSSSSSL springs consider putting something a bit softer in.

Doesn't have that low springs has peders low gas struts that I replaced think the springs are just fe2 I think the car has had a front end hit which could of caused cracks but just didn't know how serious it is!! And I have fitted a strut brace but don't think has helped much!!

I have seen a few that crack slightly in the seam at the top, actually I think most do this, and its more cosmetic than anything. But the crack going down the tower (especially in the 2nd pic) looks quite bad and may be accident related :(

Would have to be worse then that for it to collapse yeah or is that not drivable?

Mine looks similar, I think it is just the seam sealer/silicon material that cracks, not the actual metal. The metal isn't actually welded at the seams you can see from on top - instead it folds around under the seam and is spot welded. I'll grab a pic of mine tomorrow for comparison. Don't think it will fall apart, just looks a bit ugly.
