Hi, Fellow enthusiasts Great Site :) !!
I'm posting this up on behalf of my dad,
My dads' car is a 2000 Model VT Spac,
Ok to cut a long story short, Ther car Started life as a standard v6 but my dad had the old motor swapped out for a super six, it has an upgraded pulley, extractors and was driving great for approx 6months and then all of a sudden would just stall at random (but never at HWY speed) Just local traffic (inc reversing out of the driveway). Since this started the car has had the following replaced:
IAC Valve
TPS
All Coils, Leads, and Plugs (Genuine Replaced)
Aftermarket Engine Immobiliser Disconnected at Autobarn
Also Diagnostic Done 3 times but no fault codes!!
The car was being run on Caltex Vortex 95 when the stalling started, However car was then changed over to 91 Ron (not egen) stalling got worse and now car is running on 95 from another different petrol station and is running alot better but is still stalling!!!
Any help would be much appreciated!! Regards Peter.

Upgraded pulley? Sound like a boost upgrade so it really needs to be running on 98ron fuel.

When you replaced the TPS and IAC stepper motor was the TB thoroughly cleaned?

I'd also recommend cleaning the MAF.

thanks for the reply :) , I Can try running it on 98 and see how it goes! The TB & TPS where installed by a reputable mechanic (Authorised Repco Installer) but the intermittent fault still remains, i can also have a look at cleaning the MAF!

Yes but no doubt he only did what he was paid to do (install new parts) so may not have actually cleaned up the gunk that can be the potential cause of these issues.

Our super 6 did this. Changed all and more of what you mentioned and it still did it. Changed fuel pump and it never did it again.
