VT series 2 sedan 3.8
VT 2000, exec sedan 3.8 no SC.

Two plastic/rubber tubes come out of the throttle body.
One is quite short( 15 cms or so) and connects on metal nodes close by on the upper manifold
The second tube has a rubber female connect at the T/Body ( is 35 cms or so long with a hard plastic inner lining)) and and then goes....Where???????
Is it a big deal if this hose in NOT connected?.
Would really appreciate the precise location where this tube connects at the other end...a close up photo or detailed diagram would be a huge help.
A link would also be great.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. The diagram u posted is helpful for the short tube but I need info on the longer tube coming from the throttle body. Two rubber tubes attach to the lower part of the throttle body.

If anyone has a VT series 2 or earlier VX. Please follow the tube ( not the short one ) from the throttle body and post where it plugs in at the other end some a photo or clear diagram would be great.

It connect to the purge solenoid.
The sensor is located rear of the drivers side head.
I got a pic for you.
The hose under the throttle body goes underneath plenum, then to the bottom connector of the purge solenoid.

Thank you for directly answering the Q. Great photo and a big help. Its really hard to see down the back behind the plenum/upper manifold given the tight space between that and the firewall. Really appreciate your help.
