G'day guys
So yes, i broke the flimsy plastic thread on my calais' throttle cable but that is not the point here.
So i go down to repco at wingfield and pick up a new one with a metal thread, get home and pull the old one out and what's this... its too short.
Next day i go back to repco and ask for a longer one but that's the only one they have for my car. so i am in a predicament.
I would go to the wreckers but i'll just get another plastic one there and it'll snap again in a week so i want to try to get a metal thread, anyone know where i would acquire such a rarity?
Btw my VT is a '98 series 1 L36 so that may be a variable in cable length but probably not.
