VT Trans into VY V6

    Hi All

    I have been getting mixed reports on if a Series 1 Vt Transmission will go into a Series 1 VY.

    Can anyone confirm if this will work ? I have rung several mechanics and all i get is ummmmmmm it should lol

    I have read that a VY Trans will work in a VT so why would it not work the opposite way ?

    Ecotec V6 we are talking the 4L60E trans :)

    So the VT trans Number is 8HFD, and the VY is 3HFD, So i think its the same trans just one made in 1998 and one in 2003. Any Ideas ?
