My VT Berlina trip computer switches seem to have died. The left button no longer works and I can't reset it for trips or (and this is the annoying one...) I can't set the speed alert to more than 110 so it constantly beeps at me as I float around 110ks on the highway to work everday. HOW DO I GET IT OUT TO REPLACE IT???.

Use this as a Guide to help you remove the dash face plate. once removed you can remove the trip buttons. just pushing out from the back. Hope this helps

Was a 1997 vt v6 wagon
The switches probably aren't worn out, but only have dirty contacts caused by dust etc. I have successfully cleaned these type of switches by spraying contact cleaner (using the small spray tube fitted to nozzle) behind the buttons. No need to remove to do this.

Thanks pablo

I sprayed them with contact cleaner and got it to work BUT I may have used a bit too much and it sort of melted the plastic, but not too bad. So the idea was great, just need to use the spray sparingly. Thanks again to all those who helped me out. - HARPO
