hey guys i got a series 2 vt 3.8 and i was wondering if its possible to weld the diff like they do on the jap cars or not?? or is it better off getting a vt ss lsd diff?

Mate, get the LSD. I've had a locker in a rotary i had years ago and while there fun for doughnuts there also very ugly for day to day driving.

Just recently put a LSD in my VTii, simple as. Just by a LSD from VP to VT and you'll be sweet.

ahh k fee mate thanks for that, but ye i was just wondering not saying im gonna do it but r u able to lock the diff or they cant be done to commodores?? thanks

If you weld the diff that you are a complete and utter moron. If you feel you still want to do this than get a mini-spool put in.

Was a 1997 vt v6 wagon
Illegal modifications like that will get you in DEEP **** if you lose control while showing off and you injure some bystanders or kill another motorist!
