    i was just wandering why my calais revs go up and down a little when i take my foot off the accelerator after driving at a set speed? thanks

    It's called lean cruise.

    Its normal.

    There's a lot of threads about this.

    its normal for it idle then rev to 2 grand over and over

    Mine has always done it too. When i put a new fuel filter and spark plugs in mine, the surging was nowhere near as bad but you can still notice it when coasting down hills.
