VT V6 thermostat

    Bought a VT V6 thermostat and housing, it came with an o-ring. I'm not sure why.. The thermostat and housing removed from Dad's VT had no o-ring anywhere.

    Do we need it?

    My Gregory's shows no O ring, only a gasket.

    The supercharged V6 has an O ring that the thermostat sits in. I'm guessing it's that? Is it the same size as the thermostat?

    yep. Could explain it.. although I wonder if I should have put it in the VT Acclaim V6 that we have :p it's in there now.
