and its just started shakin on the front end maybe somethin to do with the power steerin ??

it only happens when i take off flat foot off the mark for a fwew seconds feels like mb a belts slipping :S?????????

hi,i have a vs, with a vs senator 5.7lt stroker, 5speed man,with a bit of work done to it..anyways, i have recently wrote it off, but still drives fine and goes hard, in the mean time i have bought a 99 vt.
and i was thinking about doin a complete transplant of everything.
i just wanted to know how to go about it?

VX Fuel pump humming

I have recently purchased a VX 2000 Executive - 146,000 kms. I have noticed a few small 'surges' when driving along and now a humming noise persists when the car is running. Someone has told me that it is the fuel pump - the noise is not very loud at present. Can anyone suggest how long this could go on for before it becomes a problem? Should I just go to the Holden Dealer and get a new pump fitted before I have a problem? thanks beryl

 

Horn not sounding when alarm goes off.

Just wondering if anyone has any idea how to make my horn go off when the alarm is sounding, im sure it is supposed to do that straight out of the factory but mine doesnt, i bought it about 3 months ago, its a VX s-pack series 2.

 

hey guys, i just bought my first car a VT and i noticed theres like a thick brownish coloured build up in my radiator when i take off the cap and that its also on the dip stick.
do i need to flush it? and if so how do i go about doing that? cheers

Hey, do the VT-VX's illuminate the main power window switch when you turn the car on?
-ie. is it allways on but you cant really see it at daytime?

 

does the horn work at all (and your sure it has an alarm fitted?)

Whats the best stuff to use to wash the tyre rubber from the edges of my wheel guards, my fronts are really bad and i havent been able to find anything to get it off.

Try Simple Green! There isn't much this stuff wont move. Used it in the mines to clean the heavy machinery etc and use it on all my cars to clean wheels, brakes, engines etc.

 

am loving all the advice and knowledge from all the how to's.
one quick question, is there a link on how to insatll front spilts into a vt ss?

Can anyone tell me how to get the inner door mirror trim on for a VX2? It was broken on my car and I've glued the clip back together. Alas it seems I'm going to have to remove all or some of the inner door in order to clip it back on?
