Chevrolet lumina 2002
Hello .. I have chevrolet lumina 2002 its equivaent to commodore vt i guess .. The problem is with the ac unit it was stuck to window vents till i found out how to change it manually to the face vents through the hoses back side the dash board .. Doing a bridge between the vaccum hose and one of the hoses there .. Thing is i cant get the air recycling to be inside the car i can smell exhausts coming from the cars infront all the time. Can any one help me with that ?!

People often ask what type of diff and ratio they have and there is often a lot of confusion
this applies to VT VX
My exec came fitted with factory LSD i never knew until recently

AXLE (Rear Axle / Diff Ratio) GU4 - 3.08:1 GU7 - 2.78:1 GU8 - 3.90

2000 3.8l vt series 2 holden commodore
hey guys, i just bought my first car a VT and i noticed theres like a thick brownish coloured build up in my radiator when i take off the cap and that its also on the dip stick.
do i need to flush it? and if so how do i go about doing that? cheers
holden used to put a pellet in coolant and this over time causes this thick brown sludge remove over flow bottle clean replace or flush system and replace new coolant ihad this and it worked out ok

Hi and welcome to the forum.

You have just replied to a 8 year old post......

Please refrain from digging up old threads/posts unless you have something important to add. Those pallets do cause some issues but what that poster described is a classic symptom of stuffed head gaskets allowing oil into the cooling system. Common problem unfortunately (but you know that right ;) ).
