Hi guys, has anyone got any info regarding factory harness plugs for the Calais/ Statesman stereo wiring harness to suit the Subs and Amp mounted in the rear of the car?
I've got my hands on a set of 8" subs and Eurovox Amp, looking at putting these into my 98 VT Berlina, it already has a series 2 Eurovox CD stereo but have never looked at pulling it out and looking behind it and chasing cables.
Done some searching through the forums and people have discussed this before but never got to saying that it all went well and easy plug'n'play.
1.) Is the factory wiring for the sub's and Amp already in the harness taped under the dash or somewhere as such?
if not ...
2.) Can the harness be adapted to the car (i.e. is there a plug awaiting an extension sitting somewhere?)
3.) Has anyone actually managed this whole process and has it worked well?
Thanks.
