hey guys. im just about to replace all my suspension bushes on the front end. I have adjustable radius rod bushes. im running 17 inch rims on standard suspension. I have instructions on how to set bushes from - 1/4 deg to +1 1/4 deg. any thoughts on what i should run?? any help would be great!
+1 1/4 over the factory setting yes. I think from factory they are around 8 1/2 anyway, the extra 1 1/4 will make it track a little better. Although it probably won't be that noticeable.
job going well, but ive succumbed to the heat!!! i probably wont be changing the bottom bushes for the wheel strut that bolts to the chassis. i dare say that will be a prick of a job!! just getting to the top of the way bar links are hard enough!
Has been warm down here hey. Try doing a diff swap front and rear in a Patrol on your own in the heat lol. Did you take the wheels off? Much easier to get the swaybay links with the wheels off. Yes, the lower control arm bushes are a prick, they need to be pressed.
i finished i in the cool this morning. i did the swaybar links with wheels on. did it from underneath whilst car was on ramps. jeebus it made a big difference! seems to steer easier, ride a little higher and is som much nicer over bumps! #### doing diff swaps in this heat!!! heyd be pretty heavy too!! ive done a few gearboxes on my own. not fun!
