Now I am assuming that the car was OK before taking to the carwash... is sounds like water has got to somewhere it should NOT have got to....

Now seeing that you have not got back to the site since posting this we might not find out what happened or what the real issue was/is... I say leave the car in the SUN for a day todry out and test.

Clean the MAF as well as the other things you will replace
