    VT II Wagon
    Hi there,

I have a 99VTII LPG/petrol wagon. Last week I noticed it was starting to rev harder between gear changes, like the PWR button was on (it wasn't). Then the other day I got a few K's down the road and it wouldn't change out of 1st. gear. If I tried to accellerate it would just die. Not stall completely but return to idle and have no power. But if you took your foot off and let it coast along it was fine. It will start fine, idle fine on either gas or petrol, even rev fine, but once it gets up to temp, it will not rev more than about 1500 with foot to the floor. Trans fluid level is perfect. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Most older types of gas systems need water to warm the gas and convert in to a liquid so check you water and do a code check.
