    Hey,
Just looking some advice ive got a problem with my VT not sarting, i have been reading through posts and getting crank angle sensor, BCM, Fuel pump, fuses, battery terminals, loose wires..

Went to the shop and came out 5mins later to the car not starting for me, it will crank over but not fire up, the key buttons have stopped working to lock, unlock and pop the boot, so i thought the battery had died in the key fob, went got the spare and still didnt work either, cleaned the key and around the connections to the ignition barrel thinking it wasn't makeing a good connection for the immobiliser, still doesn't work! when i turn the key to start it the immobiliser light goes off, checked fuses, battery terminals and for loose wires and all looks ok, left the key in on position for 2hrs to override the security system as stated in the handbook and this failed also, still cranking but not firing..

    (98 VT Execetive 3.8l Auto)

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

it may just be a fuse, have a look at the bcm fuse underneath the steering wheel or the engine cont. fuse under the bonnet i think they are 10 amp

you need some 12v wire and pull out the start relay from memory its the left and right pins you need to connect not the top and bottom
