Hey all, just joined and new to the HSV side of Holden after recently acquiring my newest vehicle.
As I'm still quite new to owning something that's a limited edition or a certain build number I was curious as to how I would go about getting it certified to make sure the car is what it is, and beside the stamps inside engine bay what else could I look for to be able to better recognise it.

Eventually I would like to get it properly valued after having someone take a good look over it and either A) keep and hold onto while trying to hold its value or B) Look into selling it and possibly upgrading to something else if it may not be worth it in the long run.

It has had some modifications already done to it and this I was able to find out from info of others that have seen the car before.
-Fully ported, fully rebuilt gearbox, rear main seal has been done aswell, has also had a full engine rebuild A2Aintercooler kit only thing kept stock is the cam apparently

Try contacting HSV they are great to work with, i had an HSV Enhanced VS Statesman and they sent out a bit of paper saying it was genuine.
https://www.hsv.com.au/ or call them is prob best, have vin numbers handy when calling

They are a great car the XU6, if you can afford to hang on to it, do so as they are getting hard to find and in a few yrs they will be worth more than it is now.
