vt's commodore tyres

S

Guest
Hi all can some one suggest a good tyre for my 98 vt's commodore, one that is low profile, my car originally came with wide section low profile tyres Michelin Pilot 225/50 R16, are there any other brands out there that would suit my car.

Also how much can i expect to pay, i have searched every tyre company’s web site but very confusing with so many to choose from.

Thanks
:bang:

i put pirellis on mine and i think there tops...so much grip and long wearing.
they are Pirellis P6 4season....they are not a directional tyre so you can rotate on your car without having to flip on the rim and they are designed as the name say for all seasons which mean they are great in the wet too...
i paid $239 per tyre fitted, balanced and with Nitrogen instead of air.....that was for 235/45/R17 so 16s should be cheaper

if you want cheap then get some Kuhmo Ecsta. they go for $160 each...but i will warn you i had these on my VT when i first bought it and grip was an issue
which for a young guy like me isnt a big deal :whistling
....but i am the opposite...like my grip

What 205/65/15 tyres would anyone suggest for my vt acclaim? Im looking at replacing all 4 shortly, and wouldn't mind something decent...

I found some hankook , king something tires for 145 ea mounted and balanced
they have a cool tread pattern.
used would be ok too, my pass. side rear one is worn to nothing on the inside of it. crappy setup on holden part and my car is barely lowered.
