VU Clutch

Hi guys got a VU Ute V6 which I've been told need a clutch kit
Im told they have a duel max flywheel and the 2 quotes I've had said change it to a single and will need to add some parts for it to work.
Can anyone elaborate on this?

Quotes so far 1400 for a single and add a 400 hundred for a duel
2nd quite was for a single at $1650
These seem quite pricey to me whats the going rate these days?

That's pretty good if it's installed and it's something like an Exedy (SMF Exedy clutch kit is about 1k off the net). The dual mass can't be machined, so don't buy another or you'll just have to get another one the next time you replace the clutch. The single mass is a one off cost.
