Vu ecotech will start but not run

I have a 2002 vu ute ,it will start but will not continue to run .
?
The fuel pump is pumping fuel -
I have blown the fuel filter out - i checked all fuses and relays

I am lost to what could be causing the car not to continue to run after starting ??
Has anyone had this happen to them ?

Could be the DFI starting to fail.

how long does it run 2-3 seconds or 5 minutes or half hour

Maybe 1 second - It fires and then stops - i have now changed the sensor behind harmonic balancer and changed airflow meter - still the same ??

1 second sounds like immobilizer, does red mode led stop flashing when cranking and running

It doesnt come on at all not even when the car is off

YESS THANK YOU It was the key not working - the car has 2 keys i didnt even think to try the spare - tried the spare and it started right up and is now running smoothly ,- thank you for your help ,
