Just picked up a genuine hard lid for the VU and wanted some info from others familiar with them & the hinges.

The hinges seem to just sit on the rear panel under the window and are quite visible, is this the way they should look?

Because the lid doesn't sit flush to the rear window and the hinges are just sitting there I didn't know if there should be a piece hiding this section as it makes it look a bit unfinished.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply mate.

The in fill panels are fine for each side, the section I am concerned about is where the hinges are which is the length of the rear window.

Does anybody know if anything should be here covering the hinges and the panel?

dont think so, not on any ive seen atleast

Thanks for the info guys, really appreciate it.

Saved me buying a part from Holden that they couldn't confirm would actually fit.
