vu leak between tranny and tailshaft?

Hey guys was just having a look under my ute and noticed there is oil or tranny fluid all the way down the exhaust hanger below the tailshaft its coming from what looks like were it joins into the transmission just wondering what is needed to fix it or generally how much it would cost to fix thanks guys pics below any help appreciated thanks

I couldnt tell but when i finish work ill degrease and hose it see were exactly its coming from dosnt seem to be making any problems but needless to say i dont want future problems from it

Those seals are damn near impossible to replace yourself. You need a special deep, thin walled socket and then the yoke will need to be pulled off the gearbox with a puller. They're a joke of a design

So how much would i be looking at for a mechanic to fix and whats the seal called so i can explain what it is :p ccheers EYY
