So this afternoon i decided it would be a good idea to replace my speakers, i had some focal splits lying around so i set to work to remove the old ones, mod the mounting pods, and plug them in,
NOW
im still running the stock europox head unit, everything went fine for around 5 minutes as i put the last door trim back on, and then the drivers side just stopped!, tweeter still works but the 6" has just stopped, now i used the original wiring as the install is only to get me by for a few weeks till install the proper stereo, so have i Popped the stock crossover? (do they even have one)
or killed the output off the head unit?
any incite would be great.
also does anyone know what the easiest way to install my 2 single din units into the dash is? do i need to use the failbrackets that come with them? or is there a better way?
Cheers for any help,
also i searched but found nothing...
