I wouldn't be too concerned about the km's. There should be plenty of life in the gearbox and engine as long as it has been regularly serviced. Look for engine noise on cold startup as the ls1's are notorious for piston slap. I'd also be looking for signs of oil use as one of my old ls1's used about 5L/10,000km.

Around 150-200,000km is when you'd expect the rear main seal to need changing and its a big job (can be $1000+). Have a good look for signs of oil leaks and consider that if you're planning to make an offer.

I would not be put off by a little bit of cold start piston noise as the LS1's tend to be a bit noisy when cold (as long as it is not excessive), take it for a run and get it up to temp then have a listen, if it is nice and quiet when up to temp I would not be too concerned. As said above check the dipstick and see where the oil level is sitting, some LS1's do use a bit of oil, not all though.
