VU storm v6- vx S1 engine swap need help please!

hi everybody im looking for some help, I have a vx acclaim wagon S1 the engine blew up, so I recently bought a ecotec out of a vu storm ute to replace it, so the engines in with new mounts and has been married to the old auto box, now as soon as the battery is connected the fuel pump and starter motor turn on by themselves without the key in the ignition lol its my first time doing a engine swap , I was wondering if s1 vx and s2 vx are the same loom (I assume the VU storm ecotec is the same as a s2 vx engine and loom, is the loom from a VU 2002 v6 ute the same as a 2001 S1 acclaim? and if that isn't the problem does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Are you using your original loom/ECU and electronics? You only need to swap the engine itself and nothing else except maybe the flex plate.
