VU tail gate removal

Hi guys please bear with me only a newbie here. I have dented my VU series 11 ute tail gate. cost to repair $750. I can get an after market with respary for APROX $500. I would like to know how to remove the tailgate as Hinges disappear inside the tail gate.Any help would be appreciated.
