Just a couple of questions, is it possible to purchase the outside black rubber trim parts where the window comes up from inside the door, mine look disgusting and needs replacing, the picture is off google..
Also can the VT grill fit into the VX grill area or are they 2 totally different units, I 've googled both and they look the same but are they?
I've seen where the VT has a chrome plated grill but I haven't seen it on a VX.

Grilles are different and you should be able to buy rubber trim.

I love you're Caprice, is that the model before the Statesman and does it have have the extra leg space.
When we purchased our VX Aclaim I would have loved a 2002 V6 Statesman but nothing was available locally.

Thanks. Basically it is the same as a Statesman with some extra features, like wood grain and leather steering wheel, wood grain on the door trims, radio and climate control buttons on the roof for rear passengers, 2 headphone sockets for rear passengers (so they can listen to a different source than the front), electrochromatic rear view mirror (auto dimming), Holden assist buttons on rear view mirror and heated side mirrors, mirror dip (the left mirror can be set to dip down to a curb view when reverse gear is selected) and key memory ( it identifies the key used and automatically adjusts the side mirrors and seat position for a particular driver)
