Have you tried taking to auto electrician to read the code & re-set ? They don't usually charge for check & re-set. I had a girlfriend who had airbag light come on & i took it to auto elec who checked & re-set the code. The reading was non active airbag code. Computer must of had a moment or something as airbag light has not come back on since. Worth doing first before you start spending $$$$$. If problem persists it could be clock spring or airbag module maybe.

The clock spring is most common fault.

Look down the side of your seat, I think yellow plug, these wires are common to get cut, if not then clock spring.
