vx belina blower fan

    my blower fan works but when i go to turn it up it starts to make a clicking sound and stays at one level do u have any ideas

    Sounds like your Fan Amplifier is stuffed, although it could also be a relay of some description, if you can hear clicking sounds. Might be worth checking the BLOWER relay under the bonnet, maybe swap it with a known working relay and see what happens. If it turns out to the fan amplifier, from memory its located somewhere behind the glovebox, and you can still buy them new from Holden spare parts too.

    relay fault by the sounds of it,mine was doing the same thing and after replacing the relay it stoped

    i dont think it is the relay.
    i swaped the one in the car under the steering wheel and it still did the same thing,
    there is no relay under the bonnet,
    what does the amplifier look like???

    i need help because it is starting to **** me off

    You have to remove the glovebox to get to the it. But it is my understanding that when they stuff up the fan only works on high speed. Someone posted a picture of one the other day. I'll see if I can find it.
    Well I couldn't find it. Maybe the fault is with the fan motor.
