These are GLOBES not the full tail light housing. I recently bought an rear light LED globe off of ebay. I purchased 2x Red LED tail lights and 2x White LED tail lights. I need more to complete the set but i wanted to see which one looks better; the red ones are a nice deep red, the white ones are a really light red (yuck). Anyway, i installed the just before and i came into a problem. The globes that were already fitted (halogen) have two wires in it, i'm assuming one for the parker lights and one for the brake lights. My LED ones that i bought only have the function to be either ON or OFF. They don't dim, or brighten depending if the Parkers are on and the Brakes are initiated at the same time. I was wondering if I've messed up anywhere, or i just bought the wrong lights? They were listed as VX commodore rear lights. I can provide pictures if needed.
You need the globes with two silver knobs at the bottom, not one. Look at the bottoms of your old and new globes and see the difference.
Doesn't it have the two nobs at the bottom? Is it just me, or do they look like it's been used before? lol.
Yeahhh, i thought so. I might re-fit them tomorrow and see if there's any change. On another note; Where the hell are the Reversing lights? I cannot find a way to access them at all, lol.
See the little pins on the side. They are off-set. Make sure you put the globes in the correct way. PS. No need to post this subject 3 times.
