Hi I was was wondering if I take rear bottom bumps stop rubber out it will lower it abit my friend said it would ?
No it wont lower your suspension. But if you take 'em out it will lower it for good if you hit a decent bump or pot hole. The bump stops are there to protect your car from bottoming out. For god's sake don't take 'em out. See this site. What are Bump Stops? - Suspension Bumper Stops Info Guide
Not a good idea...........You need to listen to the first reply....Bump stops are there for a GOOD reason........bendy breaky time if you dont listen...
I'm sorry, but your friend doesn't know what he's talking about. The ONLY way to lower your car is to get a proper kit to suit your car. Other ways like chopping the springs or heating them will just degrade the integrity of your suspension. Not to metion it is highly illegal and very dangerous to you and to other road users. If you are intent on lowering your car, save your cash and get it done PROPERLY.
It most certainly would lower you're car. 1 maby 2mm, Visually unnoticeable. Not worth the trouble. Lowering spring's that will lower you're car propley are very cheap. Not worth doing it any other way. It's good that you asked first before you went ahead and did it.!
