was wondering if the lights on the boot do anything or does everything still come outta the normal taillights?
also if i was 2 put 1 on my vx would i just take out all the screws unhook the little lights for the number plate and put the calais 1 in?

The VX berlina effectively has four tail-lights (excluding rear window light of course). You will need to get some sort of wiring loom to supply brake and parking light power to the boot garnish.

As for the conversion then I see no reason why it wouldn't be a straight swap basically but I can't say for sure.

It should be a simple swap over job, all you would need is the suitable wiring harness for the brake light in the garnish (if you want to) which you should be able to buy from holden. The number plate lights should fit the VX Calais/Berlina garnish.
