Vx carmate body kit - ideas please

depends on the side skirts i think? wat have u got 4 there? i had the same issue with my front bar ended up just getting a rear SSV lip as the curves matched the side skirts i got and the curves all over the VT.

 

That's gross..... Sorry but that looks like absolute crap. Aftermarket kits look so tacky and I'd much rather a standard VX kit. I'm going for a VT SS front lip on my VX Bar, VX SS Side skirts and rear bumper. Very subtle will still look like an exec but still give it that sportier look. And I won't look like a tool with an aftermarket kit.

 

Thats why we all 'customise' our cars. Everyone has different tastes. Wanting to do something different doesnt make you a tool, it makes you different. Tools are people who make dangerous mods, like welded diffs.

OK, some of the stuff I see is just freaking awful.. but the owner of the car obviously likes it so more power to them. VX's didnt come out with VT front lips either, and my VS didnt come out with the VX kit it now has.

Everyone has different tastes - if we didnt, then car enthusiasts wouldnt exist and we would all drive completely stock cars.

 

aggreed each 2 there own and i must aggree i hated the idea of going the SS or clubby kit like every man and his dog did which is y i went down the path i did.

2 the OP the place i got mine was infact SSV sydney special vehicals and i can say they do produce good quailty fibre glass kits, theres alot out there that can make or break a car due 2 the quality of the kit alone and how its fitted on the car ect.... so if u do ur reasearch well and get the kit fitted properly and not half assed u can make ur car **** all over the genuine products in looks.

 

My bonnet came from Savage fibreglass in Sydney, my kit came from XXX bodykits in Dandenong. The Savage is fantastic quality, they do all kinds of kits too, I highly recommend them. XXX are thieves who sell a highly inferior product, tell lies and treat customers like idiots. Moral.. make sure you buy from the right people, there is a massive difference between good and bad.

 

Yep. And mixing and matching stuff from different models is something that car enthusiasts have been doing since cars were invented. I think my VS is the best looking ever lol.. far better than it ever did from the factory. Others hate it. Customising a car is all about turning a normal mass produced car into something individual and unique, that suits the personality and needs of its owner. If it takes a bit of fibreglass and a flame suit to do that, I dont care lol.

 

with that kit the cops are going to be all over you plus it will scrap out everywhere trust me ive been there....money warehouse do heaps of kits if your going to go ahead with it id check them out. stay away from ebay kits!
