VX V6 , Charging light comes on after starting, then Abs warning light, Then gauges all drop? Battery is new, Alternator or electrical?
Alternator, voltage regulator. Measure the voltage at the battery with engine running, should be around 14.2. Anything much lower or higher is no good.
Alternator, replace regulator on back or whole alternator. You can get a good regulator from the wreckers cheap. It'll be putting out an unregulated voltage, like 20V. Try putting multi meter on there to check. Small chance it's ABS module, but alternator more likely.
