Vx commodore fuel economy

Hi I was wondering if anyone can please tell me the reason for bad fuel economy. My daughter has a vx commodore and it goes through fuel fast and we have no idea what could be causing it to go through alot of fuel. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Best Ive had from my V8 is 11.4 L/100k's (very long trip) ....its usually 12.6L (city) ...but when I get heavy on the pedal can run to 13.4L ... Pretty sure the settings can be tweaked via a tune .... which requires plug in ... Not sure but it might be possible to reset it by disconnecting battery for 10 mins drain all current from the wiring by having lights heater etc on while its disconncted.... some cars relearn there settings.... someone else will know more... should be lower for a 6

The average for a V6 suburban driving possibly be around 13 > 15L /100k,
Highway/Freeway average 11 > 13L /100k , based long road trips.

What is the average that being displayed?

Over the years some people had a similar issue,
They changed the Plugs and Leads and increased the fuel economy.

how long has she has this car and did this just start
v6 , supercharged, or v8
